Becoming Ourselves is a new documentary film about how a social justice organization based in Oakland, California – Asian Immigrant Women Advocates (AIWA) - focused on the longterm collective leadership of limited-English speaking immigrants, and empowered women and youth to stand up for their rights and become powerful social change agents. Join us in Los Angeles for a free screening! There will be light refreshments and a discussion after the screening.
